Hackathon DAO Grant-1 2022 - Open Source Communities

This season, from 2021-12-26 to 2022-03-31, we hold a 💰 $30,000 (in $DORA) funding pool 💰 to empower global open source communities including but not limited to open source repo maintainers and contributors, tech event organizers, learning groups, educational content producers, etc.

The prize allocation will be decided by Hackathon DAO members and contributors using quadratic voting. The $DORA token will be released according to the $HAC allocation on 👉 the grant page one-to-one.

Voting Guide

Hackathon DAO token $HAC (HACKER VOICE) will be used to decide the final grant allocation using quadratic voting. Voting results will be on the Hackathon DAO Grant 2022 S1 page.

The final fund allocation will be decided by the voting results and will go directly to the applicants after grace period. $DORA token will be released according to the $HAC allocation status on the grant page.

➔Voting Steps

  1. Visit 🔗grant page and signup / login with your GitHub or Email by clicking the button on the right corner.
  2. Click BUIDLs tab to see all the projects.
  3. Click “Vote” under the project you want to support and choose your wallet. A pop-up notification will appear on your wallet and ask for authorization. Click “Approve” and “Switch network” (If the initialization process is stuck, refresh and reconnect).
  4. Once the wallet is connected, the wallet address should appear in the voting interface. Input the amount you want to vote.
  5. Click “Confirm” to finish.
  6. After voting, you can check the current project ranking via the leaderboard.

➔How to Get Voting Token for This Season

Hackathon DAO token $HAC (HACKER VOICE) is designed to record one’s contribution to Hackathon DAO as well as his/her technical capability. More contribution = more $HAC.

Currently, there are three ways to gain our token:

  • Our early stage contributors including playbook co-authors, hackathon DAO donors and the organizers of this grant.
  • Complete our bounty and $HAC will be released to your wallet according to the bounty description.
  • Apply through this form. Join our Discord, send “Need TOKEN review” in #😃token-application and our DAO committee will review your application. If accepted, you will receive 1 $HAC.

Note: Token applicants with solid technical achievements or get referred by our DAO contributors will be more likely to pass the review.

投票指南

本次Grant将使用 Hackathon DAO 代币 $HAC（HACKER VOICE）通过二次投票来决定最终的拨款分配。投票结果将在 Hackathon DAO Grant 2022 S1 页面上公布。最终的资金分配将由投票结果决定，并在宽限期后直接分配给申请人。

➔投票步骤

  1. 访问 🔗grant page 并通过单击右上角的按钮使用您的 GitHub 或电子邮件注册/登录；
  2. 单击 BUIDLs 以查看所有项目；
  3. 点击您要支持的项目下的“投票”并选择您的钱包。您的钱包上会出现一个弹出通知并要求授权。单击“批准”和“切换网络”（如果初始化过程卡住，请刷新并重新连接）。
  4. 连接钱包后，钱包地址会出现在投票界面中。继续输入您要投票的金额。
  5. 点击“确认”完成。
  6. 投票后可通过排行榜查看当前项目排名。
